Mackenzie has terrible memories of highschool. After a couple years at college, with an awesome boyfriend that ended super badly, she landed an awesome job at Cosmo magazine.  
Kenzie really wants to make her adult years perfect, and definitely not anything like highschool.  Letting go of the bullying, and squashing her hurt feelings over Ryan, things are starting to go perfect, until relationships get out of hand, and tragedy strikes Kenzie where it really hurts.
