"Crisanta, hey," she turned to find the star volleyball player of Ardent Prep International, Tristan Carlos, with all his dimples and blue-eyed smiles. The older, Grade Twelve student said with a soft voice, "You didn't answer me yesterday." "What do you want?" She asked, sighing loudly as her shoulders slumped. Tired with everything. But she can't rest, not when she has a Student Council to run, a cheering squad to captain, and a play to direct. "I - I had something," he started, stammering a bit. Clearing his throat, Crisanta's boyfriend of two years continued, "I wanted to speak with you - it's about something important." She stayed quiet. ⚠WARNING: VERY CRINGE AND MESSY, MAJOR PLOTHOLES, I STARTED IT LIKE TWO YEARS AGO. ⚠ . Rose Woods has been with her foster father Jordan Lukes ever since she was 9. Ever since her brothers abandoned her because of someone else, she had built a wall against others, barring her from showing her emotions. Staying in the foster care system for 2 years after her mother's death, she learned how to mask her emotions and be ruthless. That mask crumbled when Jordan adopted her and started starving and abusing her. But she still faced the walls outside of that house with a cold facade. But when he dies due to drunk driving and she has to go back to her brothers who abandoned her, what will she do? Will she make her walls more stronger for them? Or will she let them break in? What will she do when her past begins to catch up with her? How will her brothers react when they find out she's in the Mafia? So many questions. And various answers. Which one will it be? ⚠TRIGGER WARNING⚠ ●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●□ Hey! This is just a little bit different version of "It Hurts" that is on my other account @deeply_in_thought20. Trigger warning for the following: -mature content -some strong language -fighting -mentions of abuse Everything was cool. It was fine and normal until, a new family moves I'm next door. The beautiful family seemed normal enough, but something was off. Their son didn't fit into the rest of them. He was mysterious and seemed a little bit standoffish. He seemed rude and like he didn't belong. Meeting him went well, and she catches his eye. Going to school together and their families spending some time together causes them to grow closer. So close that things happen. What happens? Do sparks fly?
