Mature
When Jericho's nephew dies, he suspects Karel, the last remaining sorcerer of Terial, to be the cause. Lacking evidence to back up his claim, his accusation only results in Karel becoming a social pariah.
Jericho vows to bring justice to his grieving sister - preferably in the form of watching Karel go up in flames.

After an ancient sorceress arrives in town, she promises Jericho the revenge and power he seeks - if only he joins her band of misfits on a journey. Swept along with an outcast servant trying to fit in, a young boy with death trapped inside of him, a prince trying to outrun his past, and most ironically with the very person he hates the most, Jericho's fate becomes further intertwined with theirs on a mission where they don't know Retha's end goal. The only thing they are certain of is, by the end of this quest, they will all be very powerful - or very dead.

"You have completely and utterly bewitched me, Lucia. Every time I look at you, I feel practically hypnotized." ☆✰⭐︎ Lucia Winters was raised in a pure-blood family with a storied history, expectations weigh heavily on her. Her father couldn't say no when she was invited to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as a fifth year. She was deeply nervous about stepping into Hogwarts, not that she would ever admit it out loud. Lucia didn't grow up dreaming of the Great Hall, or getting sorted in front of hundreds of staring eyes. But with carefully composed nervousness there was excitement, she was burning with it. Lucia doesn't know yet what is to come, the power she can yield from her fingertips, a person who could guide her magic, or possibly use it. Sebastian Sallow was in his fifth year of Hogwarts. It started with exhaustion. The kind that settles into your bones - the kind that no amount of sleep or sugar quills can fix. Sebastian hid it with his grin, the sarcasm, the easy confidence. But by now, it was habit, not joy. Anne hadn't improved. Solomon barely spoke to him. So he did what he always did, he hid the bleeding parts. But underneath all of it was a hum, a low, constant desperation. He started digging into older magic, darker spells, things the books said he shouldn't touch. He touched them anyway. Sebastian was not going to sit back and watch his sister wither when he knew there were answers? No. There had to be answers, something, or someone, will show him. ☆✰⭐︎ A collision of two desperate souls, one already falling, the other just stepping into the dark. He needs her - not just because of her magic. She needs him - not just because he sees her clearly. Two people keeping secrets, both too clever for their own good, both drawn to eachother like gravity. Somewhere in their desperation, ambition, and obsession with saving Anne, it started to look like more than a friendship.
