Aki Hinamori lives into a world that runs parallel with the world of MHA two worlds that are run so close one another that they are to affect one another. The term for this was appropriately named Yin and Yang. Some locations can be found where the worlds can be glimpsed into each other like a magical mirror these are called Balance portals. In the location of one balance portal is an apartment that's been lowered in rent due to there being a 'ghost' living there. Aki, not afraid of ghosts, is looking forward to her new adventure in her haunted apartment. In the Yin world, Shoto Todoroki is living his life as a pro hero fighting villains that often destroy town. Villain attacks resulting in destroyed buildings sends a ripple into the Yang world, causing freak accidents to happen. In the Yang world, Aki moves into the haunted apartment and gets the biggest surprise ever, learning that the ghost is a handsome duel-color haired man with a burn on his face. Aki embarks on a journey to find out if she is crazy or if the Yin world and the mysterious man is real or just a ghost.
