Cassandra was abandoned as a baby. She's average in every way. Except a rare genetic mutation that gives her deep violet eyes. Cass also has two friends, Aiden and Alexander. They attend the same school and are socially outcasted from the social life of high school.
Then one day the Mean Girls clique invites Cass to a sleepover where they give her a total makeover and convince her to wear blue colored contacts. At school, Cass is fawned over by all the guys after they see the "new and improved Cassy". Even Mr. Heart-Breaker-Channing-Tatum Ethan notices and fall for her.
Ethan asks Cass out and they start dating. Ethan's badass heart breaker attitude changes for Cass into a sweet, gentleman like character. As Cass falls for Ethan even harder, Alex gets jealous. He had loved Cass since before Cass was adopted, for who she was.
And then suddenly her world falls apart. Alex attempts suicide and suddenly Ethan wasn't such a nice guy after all. Worst part, Cass has lost sight of who she really is. Can anyone save her from the mess she's made?

Kiara was really depressed before she met Cassandra. She had been bullied and picked on since as long as she can remember. There wasn't even a reason for it and that makes it much worse. After a few years of good friendship, Kiara realized her love for Cassandra took a different turn, she started to have feelings and soon after, she and Cassandra got into a relationship. Life was good. Too good. After graduation, something really really terrible happened. Cassandra got into a car accident. It was really bad. She got into a really bad coma. Now it's three years later and she's still fast asleep. Kiara's life has been on pause ever since. Until- Kiara also got into an accident. Not that kind of accident though.. Kiara accidentally saw things she wasn't supposed to see. Heard things she wasn't supposed to know. The only possible option was to take Kiara with them. And that's when Kiara's life get's off pause.
