this is a rewrite of an old story of mine. it has the same title, and I decided I wanted a more detailed story line. my original was rushed, undetailed, and flawed.(Not saying this wont be oops) this is klance, but no smutt, this is a work safe story folks, but gore warning? *Just to clear up the confusion, lotor is not half altean in this au* lance is an altean, and keith is galra, altean, and human. his mother is galra and altean, while his father was human. lance is a special type of altean, almost artificial. he has the rarest power since it is completely unique. he was water, and lightning powers. alteans normally only have water, ice, OR earth powers due to their peaceful tendencies. (No fire or lightning etc.) But, they are apparent on EXTREMLY rare occasuons.He got them from allura, who used her power to save him from a deadly disease when he wasnt even born yet. He was born with white hair, and altean markings. *warning*...a little gory?? some sensitive topics Plus, the cover art is not mine, I looked it up on google and couldn't find the credit. Keith and Lance had been friends most of their lives. When Keith came out to Lance as gay, Lance had run a mile and their friendship ended. A years later Lance realised he was attracted to both boys and girls, but he only told his two friends Hunk and Pidge because his girlfriend, Allura, is anti-gay. They are all now halfway through their second year at college and Lance finds he can't stand Allura anymore. She is nasty and self-absorbed. To make matters worse, he finds himself in all the same classes as Keith, except one. Lance wants his friend back as more than just a friend. On the day he dumps Allura, the unexpected happens. This story is loosely based on the paladins of Voltron. I have not watched all the seasons and have changed the back story of some characters. I do not own any of the characters in this story, and I do not own any of the artwork. I used google translate for any Spanish and Japanese used in the story, so blame me if it's wrong. There is smut, swearing, rape, and self-harm in the story. I will not be putting disclaimers at the beginning of the chapters, so if you don't want to read it, move on to another story. When the anniversary of Allura's passing came around he decided that was the best time to reconnect but who would've thought that the stars refused to align when Keith was found injured and unconscious with a beautiful stranger by his side. Will Lance ever find out if Keith still fancies him like before? Why was Keith injured and who is this stranger who won't leave his side? (I know this fandom is long gone but I rewatched Voltron several weeks ago before they removed it off Netflix. I forgot how much I loved it and how we were deprived of Keith and Lance ever being together so I decided to create this story.
