It's 2017 and Rose Weasley, the daughter of Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley, is starting her first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. But that's one of her many worries and curiosities. Her mother and father deny telling Rose about their past, they avoid mentioning their time at Hogwarts. Sometimes they might let slip a little bit of their time in education, but not always. It's like they are frightened or ashamed of it. The thing is, Rose doesn't know what her Mum and Dad's past was like, why they never spoke of anything but the start of the year. Rose's silence is going to cease to exist: she's had enough now.
She wants to find out the truth of the world that she's interested in.
So that's it.
Rose's secrecy ceases forever more.
The truth awaits her, but it doesn't come easily; many obstacles lie ahead.

But at the start of her sixth year, she is already feeling stumped, and not because of the higher-level N.E.W.T classes that she is taking. No, this is because of a Malfoy. Her parents were never too thrilled that she was friends with the kid, but it didn't stop Rose, especially not when she couldn't even see her best friend/cousin without also seeing him. Along with Rose, Scorpius was also one of the top students in the class. He was her only real competition. And the friendly competition never hurt anyone, well, not until this year. Rose can't put her finger on what it is exactly, that has caused this shift in her friendship with Scorpius and she hates it. She hates not knowing the answers to things, and this one replayed in her head all the time. She's stumped trying to figure it out, of course not realizing that it's her cluelessness that's the real problem. This story is filled with all the different types of love, family, friends, and yes, some romance. Follow Rose on her coming of age journey through her last two years at Hogwarts, where she learns all that she possibly can about magic, and possibly more importantly, about life. ***Note: This story was written before the Cursed Child, so not everything is completely "cannon" but more of my ideas on the next generation before the Cursed Child even came out.
