Sweet were his gestures

and unforgettable were our misadventures

Darling you had shown and shared with me

something I thought would never exist

As we lay chained to each other

While we gazed at the spellbinding stars and mist

Every time I see you, I can't help myself but smile

wondering where you were, all this while

For your words were never amiss

as you pulled me deeper into your never ending abyss
