Minding Mason

1 part Complete

When Reese is left by nearly all his brothers to take care of his struggling ranch, he relies on the help of his very talented but slightly unhinged younger brother, Mason. When Mason walks in on a mystery woman being abused on their property, he acts first, and doesn’t bother asking questions. Reese, saddled with a dead body that can't be identified, a mute beauty whose origins can't be determined, a struggling ranch, and a slightly crazy brother, decides enough is enough. So he goes out and gets himself hitched; after all, didn't the sheriff suggest a wife could help him bring some order to the bachelor ranch? When Mason follows suit and marries up afterwards, Reese has plenty of chances to observe the man his brother has become. Somewhere along the journey of love, crazy family drama, and loss, Reese finally realizes that minding Mason sometimes means accepting that wisdom came in the most unexpected packages. Oh, and that when life got a little crazy, well, maybe the crazy ones were best qualified to give directions.
