After the sudden disappointment and break up with her long-time fiancée - Spencer, twenty-five-year-old Melissa Adesuwa Johnson decides to take the bold step and return to the family she left because of Spencer.
As difficult as it seems, she still decides to go back to the family she abandoned for the fake 'happily ever after' she was deceived to believe.
During her flight back home, she notices that someone is trailing behind her, non-stop. His shadow intertwining with hers, at every point.
Interestingly enough, she recognizes this person's silhouette as the same one that'd nearly stalked her to death - through incessant, shadowy appearances, during her stay abroad.

Nevertheless, as she surges back to her hometown - now ready to fix the mistakes she'd made, the incessant stalking experiences worsens, as this stalker goes as far as terrorizing her entire community.

But, what she doesn't know is that the letters she'll send to him will lead to a whirlwind of surprises and throw her in a web of complexities of culture, mystery, secrets and truths that'll change her entire life.
