Kai is a slave, like any other person on board the ship, RMZ-1588. His simple life demands nothing more than a bucket of sweat and a bowl full of tasteless gruel to stay alive. And then there is his little sister- ChuChip, his angel, his breath, his soul. To keep her happy, a made-up fable is enough, she'd go on listening to them forever.
All of this is about to change, when he starts seeing and hearing weird things, far more weirder than his wildest fantasies. At first people think that he is suffering from sea-madness. Of course he is not a lunatic talking to a fish, or is he?

Kai gets sick, and even though he is the master of fire, a fever drastically overcomes him. Causing headaches, and outburst of fire, it's not any normal illness. What happens then? Will his mind get warped from all this? Who will find him first? Someone takes advantage of this and will do everything to get what they want, but who's leading them? __This does have some Lavashipping towards the end, so please be aware of that if it makes you uncomftorable. __This also goes off the script a bit from the fever, just focusing on aftermaths. *FINISHED!* (just edits being made now) -11/23/25 I decided to unpublished every chapter except the ones that are updated, I have been working to edit at least 1 chapter every day, don't know how long that will last, but I've been doing it for 3 days now -2/25/26 Aspen has lived in the castle her entire life but that changes on her sister's 16th birthday when she meets Jay and Gabe. Gabe can be kinda annoying and Jay doesn't talk much, but for Aspen's first friends they are perfect. When Jay reveals a scheme that changes Aspen's life forever, they help her escape the castle. They are now on a mission: to stop her sister, and save the kingdom. What she is planning, not even Aspen knows. I would also like to credit my friend who helped me write this.
