Even after Mario became Duke of the Mushroom Kingdom when he married the fair Princess Peach; the Koopa Clan  have continued to persistently wreak havoc on their beloved homeland - the Mushroom Kingdom.

Duchess Peach Toadstool must stay up on her toes as the proclaimed guardian of the Shieldstone. Should it fall into the hands of the notorious Koopa Clan, the Mushroom kingdom potentially could cease to exist! 

With the Mario Bros. continuing their world-renowned roles as the sworn protectors of the kingdom despite living miles apart as well as being assisted by three individuals who have travelled from the future- would they stand a chance against the evil clan?
