Chiyomaru is Inuyasha's younger twin sister, a mortal girl who's demonic powers were taken from her in the womb by Inuyasha. Upon returning, Chiyo learns what happened to her best friend and spends the next 50 years making herself stronger all while disguised as a man to make travel easier. Inuyasha is awakened and she searches all over the place for Inuyasha. After teaming up with Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku and Shippo, Chiyo leads the group to the demon slaying village where she once trained. They find the villagers slain before meeting Sango, who wished to kill Inuyasha who she believed killed her village. After seeing the truth, the group continues their journey to find Naraku and Chiyo crosses paths with the long foreseen true love that Reiki predicted that she'd meet one day, southern wolf demon tribe leader, Koga. She previously lived in Kyoto where her shrine was located. But her father told her to visit Tokyo and create a small shrine just for herself. This girl was different, different in a way. She was indeed beautiful, a rare beauty, eye-catching and the most intriguing part that makes all of them crazy for her was her sweet scent, a very rare sweet scent that attracts both human and yokai.
