Altea is heaven on clouds. But when hell drags in less and less demons and human sacrifices, they begin taking souls travelling from bodies to heaven. these lost souls are taken in replace of human sacrifices, draining the souls to feed the demons.

Lance was supposed to be the prince of heaven. But it was when Lance was taken to hell that finally caused the angels to realize the problem of their souls being taken.

Lance is fed up. In all his years, he has only known life inside the Castle of Lions. As he described it, a prison cell disguised as an extravagant home for the royal. He longs to get away, but his newly crowned sister, Allura, won't have it. So, against her younger brother's wishes, she hires a bodyguard to keep him 'safe' inside the castle. Earth and the entire universe rests on his shoulders, and he's worried about how it will all go down. Trigger warning for Gore and Violence. No spoilers of the series or anything like that, aside from Adam if yall don't know about him and his relationship with a certain person yet.
