Life, that's the funny thing about it. We always wanted things to go the way that we imagined it too, but of course plans just always have to change.

What if we could've thought about how we wanted our lives to go from in the womb?

Wouldn't that make everything so much better?

What if we could've created our husbands/wives for ourselves, would that make us a God/Deity?

Maybe, just maybe. We were all just living our truths and we needed people to come into our lives to shine the light where we always played blind to.

This was about to be the reality of everything that we tried so hard to envisioned for ourselves.

Truths are about to be tested, faith was about to be questioned and most importantly Love was about to be granted.

"why the fuck did you go on a date with him? he is not even your type!!" he growls. "so what? he is friendly and nice to me" I replied confidently. "NO, HE IS NOT NICE!!! he wants you because you're....beautiful" he said looking directly in my eyes! "Viaan! stop being so annoying...and let me go! he is waiting for me" I said. As I was about to leave, he held my hands and in a millisecond I was pinned to his car. I was shocked by this action of his. He never behaved like this but today he was in different mood. "What a-are you d-doing?" I said. We were so close that our lips were almost touching and then he bends towards my neck and kiss it. I swear that feeling was so amazing... I loved it but I didn't show it on my face, but then he looked at me with his dark brown eyes, and stared at me for a couple of seconds. "If you didn't leave for home right now! I will kiss the fuck out of you, until you become breathless" he said in his deep voice without breaking the eye contact. Honestly that was hot....but this is not the time for this. "And why are you suddenly so interested in my personal life? Are you jealous of Abhay?" I said without looking at him. "Do not try me! I said go home!!" I sensed that he is angry. "Oh yeah? don't try you? what will you do Mr. Raghuvanshi?" I said in a sarcastic way. To which he smirked. and said "don't ask for something you can't handle baby" What did he just say.....Baby? "I'm not your baby". "Are you sure?" he smirked again. Why the hell he's keep doing that. ......... Naiyah thought she was living the dream. California sun. A great boyfriend she'd known for years, the kind you move across the country with. An apartment in an artist commune, with a rooftop garden that has a gorgeous view of the river. A job that felt cool enough to brag about. After graduating high school, she moved to Marin, hoping for a new beginning. But the dream frayed fast. The "artist's commune" was more vagabond compound than creative haven. And her boyfriend? Maybe wasn't so great after all. Her "dream job" was more like a nightmare... Nothing was like how she thought it would be. Reality didn't knock. It came flooding in. And with it came the rot, quiet at first, like moisture in the walls, like something you smell before you can see. The rooftop stopped feeling like a refuge. The river turned to sludge. The man she loved began to twist her words, then her sense of self. It wasn't a collapse, it was a slow unthreading. A life held together with hope and borrowed light, now fraying at every seam. She kept patching holes with whatever she could find, but it wouldn't hold. Not with him. Not here. So she left. Now she's stitching her life back together with a thread pulled from her own soul, or from what's left of it. Memory, ruin, and the kind of truth that doesn't ask permission. The "Thread Without Needle" series is for anyone who's ever walked away without apologizing. A story about silent unraveling, reclamation, and the quiet defiance of choosing yourself. Brought together by small mercies, fragmented victories, and soft things found in the wreckage... And what comes after, starting over with nothing... Mia Brown believed she had her heart safely guarded, wrapped tight under layers of resilience. Life had taught her that trusting too deeply could lead to heartbreak, and dreams didn't always come true. She knew it was safer to rely on herself, to focus on her work and keep her emotions locked away. But a quiet longing stirred beneath her resolve, whispering dreams of a love so deep and true that it would feel like home. And then, there was Alex Walker. From the moment their paths crossed, something shifted in Mia-a warmth, a spark she couldn't ignore. Alex was magnetic yet grounded, a man of strength and subtle tenderness, with eyes that seemed to see into the guarded corners of her heart. He had a way of challenging her walls with every smile, every unspoken word, breaking down the defenses she'd built over time. Mia didn't believe in fairy tales, and yet, as she looked out into the future, there was a flicker of hope, fragile yet undeniable, that maybe she had found something real. Something she hadn't known she'd been searching for. But what if love was more than a feeling? What if it required trust, patience, and a vulnerability she had never allowed herself? Mia's journey would ask her to let go, to be open, to choose love even when it felt uncertain. And in the quiet moments, as she dared to hope, a single, fervent thought lingered in her mind: Could he be mine? ꧁༒☬ ʙᴇ ᴍɪɴᴇ ☬༒꧂ 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞, 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞. The choices we make in life can make or break us. However, some people make choices out of selfish reasons; not knowing their actions at the present time will have repercussions in the future. We are told not to worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow is not promised. That could be very well true. However, what if tomorrow is promised; how would you reexamine yesterday? What would you do differently today? How would you prepare for tomorrow? We are told to live for today, however, the question is-how many people live for "today?" If you are living for "today" at the end of the day, could you say you took care of all of your responsibilities? Each day has a purpose; each day creates a memory, and each day should be precious. Ask yourself-did you put your best foot forward? Or did you point fingers at everyone else instead of focusing on what you need to improve? The important question is: at the end of each day, are you satisfied with the decisions you've made? Dear Fathers of the Fatherless Children: Do you know your sons and daughters are AMAZING? They are full of life and they are truly a blessing. Your sons and daughters need you in their lives. Fathers of the fatherless children, your sons and daughters crave your presence and your support. They want you in their lives more than you will ever know. Fathers of the fatherless children, open your eyes and know your presence is very critical. Be your son's hero and let him know he can conquer the world. Be your daughter's first knight in shining armor. Be a part of your son's and daughter's success instead of their pain
