After totalling her SUV in an accident, ER nurse Kyna wakes up as a prisoner in a mysterious world. Can she melt the cold heart of the enigmatic Elven King Einar to earn her freedom and find her way home?

Kyna, an Emergency Room nurse from Prince George, British Columbia, deals with life and death nearly every day. Little does she know her own life may be at risk when she totals her SUV after a night shift and ends up in a different place when she wakes up, a place that shouldn't even exist beyond the pages of one of her favourite books. There she comes face to face with the Elven king of Daerlyre, Einar.

The darkness, and the strange creatures wrought from it, has been encroaching on Einar's realm for decades. Despite his efforts, the elves of Daerlyre have receded further and further back into their cavernous halls. When Einar's son discovers a strange woman, alone and in strange clothing near to their home, he tosses her in the dungeon without thought. However, when he finally meets his otherworldly prisoner, he finds himself inexplicably drawn to her.

Will he believe Kyna is a threat, or will be believe her outrageous story?
