So, I've decided to take a different route of writing. I'm not sure how well people will like this, but this is a story from the perspective of a veteran who struggles with PTSD.
Please let me know what you think... and if there is any information or a concept in my writing that is incorrect, please let me know and I will correct it. I mean no offense to anyone writing this. Whether you are a civilian and have never seen war and the horror or it, or a soldier/veteran who knows exactly what I'm talking about, I hope to help support the veterans with PTSD and spread understanding of what veterans have gone through for the safety and freedom of this country. I, personally, am a civilian, but I am thinking very strongly about joining the army after high school.
Anyways, please enjoy and try to understand; keep your heart and mind open. Thanks!!

𝐕𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐗 𝐉𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐯𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧. In a world that screams, I stand in despair, My voice drowned out, lost in the air. Chains of tradition tighten each day, I long to escape, but I'm forced to stay. Each breath I take feels heavy and torn, Every mistake a scar I've worn. I crave a sky where I can be free, Away from the walls that imprison me. For now, I sit with my heart in pain, Silent, yet screaming, again and again. Though shattered, a spark in me still survives, Dreaming of freedom where my soul can rise.
