"I've always wanted to teach English, but why do I feel like I'm not going to get much of that done this year...."

Jacob Palmer is a high school English teacher who sets out to make a difference among his homophobic students, but when his out of control boyfriend finally ends things between them, he has to pour himself into the school's LGBT dance to cope. Until his planning committee gets other ideas, most of which include the 'sweet' young Home Economics teachers, Theodor Farber.
