"What's your name?" He asked, the sudden noise startling me in the once quiet room. "Galadriel." I said sternly but quietly with no emotion, trying to hide the evident hesitation i had of speaking to him. I assumed he noticed my hesitance, since he said nothing else. I didn't want to speak to him, I wanted so badly for it to be as if he wasn't even there, I hoped he'd be gone in a couple of days, Off back to war, but i knew it could take weeks for some of the soldiers to heal and regain their strength, It made me think back to their arrival hours ago and the bloody and injured men that lingered in the crowd of the other soldiers, which reassured my previous thoughts. The realization hit me heavy. Id have to provide for him, cater to him and help him regain his strength. "Id have to live with this man." I whispered aggressively to myself almost forgetting he was just across the room. I scrunched my fist together hoping he didn't hear me or ask me to repeat what i said. He said nothing once more. I felt my cheeks heat up in embarrassment as i unsteadily walked over to boil the last of the water i had for rice. Abrupt footsteps came from behind me getting closer and closer causing me to fasten my eyes shut and my hands to tremble, almost spilling water on my silk gown in the process. I quickly opened my eyes and let out a much needed dramatic breath once i realized he left. "God" I whispered, sighing in relief. I would be lying if i said i didn't wish he wouldn't come back. But i knew he'd be here a while.
