This city is partially connected by tunnels. They run under houses, office buildings, restaurants.... Even goth bars.
Artemis, who has just moved to the city, doesn't know about the tunnels. But on their third night in house 779 on a quiet little suburban street, Artemis hears a small noise coming from the mirror on their bedroom wall.
Artemis rarely speaks due to crippling social anxiety. For the first time in two years, they say two simple words.
"Who's there?"

He suddenly wakes up in the middle of nowhere all by himself, and has no idea what's going on. He runs into weird people that claim to be demi-gods. He's apparently one too.
