The thing is, she didn't die. No, she took up her place in Heaven as the Archangel of War because her soul was attached to the dead Archangel Seraphina's soul. She never expected to see Percy face to face again, well not until he died and would be Judged, but days before their 16 birthday she saw something strange land on Percy's car.
