Quirky Piper Hastings has always been a little different than her peers. This becomes more obvious as the years go by to everyone but her.
To make matters worse she has a twin brother that might as well be red and have horns because of how close he is to the devil. To top it off he is part of the 'Group' , as her High School calls them, that tortures her.

From my first lungful of the heavy, nacho and Axe scented air back in 8th grade, I new things were going to change. And they did. Friends came, friends left, but years later in Grade 11, I finally had my solid group of people, who could also be mistaken for insane asylum escapees.It was also the year I noticed Halden. From his perfectly messy brown hair, all the way down to his beat up Converse, I knew he was the perfect one for me, and dove in head first. The only downfall was that it'd hard to see the right guys when you're already drowning in the wrong ones.
