Hope has spent the past two years of her life reinventing herself at a new school, all the way across country. After circumstances arise, Hope is forced to move back to her hometown where she will have to see all of her old peers again.
With a seemingly great transition back into her old school, Hope feels back on top. She's got phenomenal grades, both new and old friends on her side, and all the freedom in the world.
Is it too good to be true?
As Hope's bond grows closer and closer to her new friend Kaden, she's left in an uncomfortable situation. How can she be so hopelessly in love with someone who's not even interested in her gender? But more importantly, why is he leading her on?
Problems continuously arise until one horrible, drunken night causes everything to come crashing down. Does Hope really even know Kaden or has he been dishonest this whole time?
Sometimes being devoted to someone so toxic can cause one to forget who they are themselves.

-Let's get this straight.
