Dystria

Dystria is about the never ending conflict amongst the three dominant races, and Emmalayne's adventure alongside Dester.

Fairies, which stand at 5'3 on average, are masters of the sky. Their small wings span 4 feet across on average and have rounded tips. This allows them to make short, fast maneuvers in the air completely unrivaled by any other race. They utilize a small variety of light weapons. Each fairy has a dagger specific to them.

Elves, which stand at 5'7 on average, dominate ranged battles. They make use of the elven longbow, a weapon only elves possess. This allows them to combat fairies and other flying races, seeing as they have no wings. They also carry a cutlass. Similar to the dagger of the fairies, each elf has his or her personal cutlass. They are fast, only beat out by fairies in terms of speed. They also own the middle ground in terms of raw strength between fairies and vrane.

Vrane, standing at 6'5 average, rely heavily on their all powerful strength and endurance. While fairies are faster in flight, they can't fly nearly as long, or as far as the vrane. Any vrane can easily overpower a fairy or elf. In terms of weaponry the general weapon of choice is the lance. Suitable for medium range combat or throwing. The vrane are the only race of the 3 that don't carry a close combat weapon, as they are trained in disarming enemies, and hand to hand combat. Their bat-like wings span up to 9 feet across, allowing for bursts of speed at the cost of maneuverability.

Every race has several aver, or "teachers". Every race also has a crata, a small pouch that gives the user access to a pocket dimension of sorts to draw his or her weapons from.
