Everybody was controlled by The State, democracy sacrificed in exchange for safety and security. Suffice it to say, having witnessed her friend's unlawful execution, Emilia Wilbur was disillusioned with the totalitarian state. 

Emilia joins the rebellion under an alias, Mia, and she infiltrates the State's elite by joining the 'Evolution Program'. Her mission is simple: Extract condemning evidence at any cost. However, Emilia did not anticipate falling in love nor did she expect to build a life amongst the enemy. When the cause no longer aligns with her convictions, will Emilia go M.I.A?
