Sixteen year old Serenity Faye is a new student at Caelestis Academy. She runs late on her first day of classes and she meets a strange guy named Kai Drakone. As Serenity walks home from school that day, she's attacked by a terrifying beast, the ravenger demon, Omen. She is saved from her attacker by a demon hunter dressed in black. The demon hunter takes the wounded and unconcious Serenity to the old cathedral that he and his fellow demon hunters live in. Regaining conciousness, Serenity learns her savior was Kai. Now Serenity is flung head-first into the world of the demon hunters. She must learn their ways and find out why she is a target for demons
