“You have to let me go, you can’t keep mourning for me forever. You know that don’t you. You know I won’t be happy if you keep crying over me. I love you. I will always love you. But you will have to move on at one point of time-“
“No! Nobody can ever take your place in my life. So don’t even go there. I have loved you since I saw you the first time. I love you. I will keep on loving you till my last breath. So please don’t talk about leaving me.” He turned his back to me. I could feel his shoulders shaking. He was sobbing his heart out.
I pulled him towards me so that he was facing me. His eyes were red and swollen. He had bags under his eyes. He looked completely worn out. I could not bear to see him this way.
“Please chase, don’t turn your back on me. Please…” I trailed off.
“Then don’t leave me, please stay. Don’t go. I beg you rose. Please don’t go”, he started crying loudly. He was in so much pain. And I could not do anything about it. I could not stay with him. I had to leave him. He had to go on without me. He had to let me go. After all I could not stop my death. I had to die…
