For as long as Cailyn Carter could remember having a family was something that didn't exist. Growing up all she knew was the foster system. Having no knowledge of ever having a family only broke her into pieces. Luckily Cailyn had that one ride or die Ellynn Johnson, being adopted into their family taught her how to love. Surviving a lifetime of hell Cailyn wanted to fill the broken holes in her heart with what she desired most love and family.

Kassidy, Kordell & Karlos. AKA the KKK. A trouble family that is known for having trouble follow them wherever they go. Witnessing their father being murdered, as a family they vowed to never let any pain be inflicted onto their mother. Not knowing how to properly support each other their family continued to fall apart.

Malik a local drug dealer with a dream to make it out the hood. Growing up he witnessed the the wrong side of his parents. Never was he able to make neither proud. At the age of 18 he was introduced to his long lost brother Trecee. Trecee grew up in a foster system broken and beaten, not knowing anything about his family at the legal age he was finally reunited with his older brother and from then on they set out to build their family.

That new beginning that they needed and wanted was close than they thought.
