Harper is a teenage girl who has social anxiety and finds it really hard to talk to new people. Especially with prom coming up she knew for a fact she wasn't going.
A couple months before prom harpers teacher makes them do a history project based on the history of prom.
Harper is paired with one of her best friends and Tristan Scott. Tristan is one of the most popular basketball players at the school. And is also her next door neighbor. Being in this group Harper gets really anxious because she knows Tristan is popular.
Rumors start flying saying that Harper likes Tristan because she's always so nervous. With prom coming up everyone is pressuring Harper. Harper doesn't know what to do as rumor starts flying when she's so used to being invisible.
