After EoS and my version of Kingdom of Ash. Warning: This fan fiction does not have a happy ending.
After Aelin had been captured by Maeve, she was painfully tortured by one of Maeve's blood-sworn commanders, Cairn. Now, under Maeve's command, Aelin is continued being tortured by Carin, doing unspeakable things. Maeve's goal for Aelin is for her to finally break and obey her. Will Aelin break, or forever suffer under Maeve's wickedness.
After months, Rowan still wasn't able to save Aelin yet. Though, a new clue emerged, leading them closer towards Aelin and Maeve. Will Rowan finally be able to save Aelin, or will he suffer for the rest of his immortal life?
