The Phantom Blade

In a futuristic Tokyo, the world has been taken over by a technology called nanobytes that can transform people into human weapons if they enter their bloodstream. Weapon Masters are the highest ranking people in society and part of the fastest growing armies in the world. Eighteen-year-old Takuya Sakamoto is poor and the sole caretaker of his younger brother, Daichi. In order to afford a good life for her brother, Takuya enters Neo-Tokyo's Weapons Academy to train to be a Weapon Master and puts his life on the line by entering Japan's rising army. All he has to do is be a Weapon Master for two years and Daichi can live the rest of his life comfortably, not having to worry about money. Or the looming draft. But can he survive long enough?
