In the vast land of Scarana, Arisa is a young apprentice of one of the best Shadow Masters, Scade. But when Scade goes missing, most possibly dead, Arisa needs to take his role to make Scarana's shadows. She soon realizes that the Shadow masters are being assasinated, one by one, and they are being killed by their number order. Scade was 5. Arisa's 6. She's next on the list.
