The Heartbreak Roadkill

The wilderness; is no small place.

Lenora Quest learnt that the hard way after her pack left her on the side of the road to die; when she failed to accept the Alpha as her replacement mate.

Now stranded in the wilderness with no place to go as she bleeds. Lenora begins to wonder whether she will even make it till next spring. But as soon as she begins to think that; she turns her life around and makes herself into something that she thought was not, a survivor.

As she survives through the cold winter with only her wolf form and her survival skills to keep her going; she eventually stumbled across a near dead carcass of another wolf. Never being one to leave anything to die; she decides to take it in and nurture it back to health.

Only once she has done so does she realize that she isn't the only werewolf out there trying to survive; and finds that the werewolf, Eco South is too.
