**Sequel to The Misunderstood Prince**
**Takes place (mostly) after Infinity War**
Ella Webb wakes up in the Soul World with no idea how to escape. All she knows is that she is finally in control of her powers and that her heart aches for Loki, God of Mischief.
Back in the real world, Loki and the Avengers try and decipher the mystery of what happened to Ella and where she is.
Eight years pass, and Ella remains trapped, alone. But she is suddenly joined by millions of people, including heroes who claim to know the Avengers and what events have transpired over the past few years.
When these strangers tell her that Loki escaped Thanos' clutches, narrowly missing death, Ella decides she can no longer stand by and watch her world burn.
She plots an escape from her wretched prison, desperate to reach Loki and the Avengers before Thanos does.
Working against time and fate, Ella and the heroes attempt to defy the rules of the galaxy in order to return to the world of the living.
Amidst all of this, Ella must make a heartbreaking choice to save the man she loves and her world from extinction.
Will the world burn? Or will Ella become the Phoenix she was always meant to be?
