shelley isn't new, she knows rock stars come and go all the time. she's seen them roll out of bed at odd hours and lounge around the Chateau like they own the place, which by the way her boss expects them to be treated, they very well could.

jimmy's a rock star with a shy personality but a big ego, coming to LA for the first time and stumbling upon shelley who waits the bands table for most of their stay. He's stumbling and struggling.
