Shooting Stars

DISCLAMER: SOME CHARACTERS ARE AGED UP. MAX AND THE READER ARE AROUND 13 OR 14 YEARS OLD.

I know I shouldn't be starting a new story as I can't even keep up with the 4 I already have, but here we are. I was laying out in the yard looking at the stars when I got this idea, so it's not exactly as thought out as some of the other things I've written. All I can say is this: if you do end up having the misfortune of reading this, be prepared for LONG periods of time between updates.
