Obloha potemněla a po nebi se míhaly sem a tam záblesky světla. Byla to bouře, jakou malá vesnička Tarna ještě nezažila. Vítr byl tu noc silný, polámal několik stromů v blízkém lese. Tarnský les obklopoval celou vesnici a stromy byly tak obrovské, že malá vesnice mezi nimi nebyla málem ani vidět. Venku nebylo ani živáčka. Všechna zvířata se schovala do svých úkrytů a bylo slyšet jen temné bušení deště, jak kapky dopadaly na větve stromů. Sem, tam byl vidět prudký záblesk blesku doprovázený hlasitým zaduněním hromu. Lidé byli schovaní ve svých domech a nevnímali mohutné ohlušující rány, tam venku, kde se rozpoutalo peklo.
Všichni se modlili, aby už vysvitlo slunce a skončilo s pekelnou bouří, o které se bude mluvit ještě hodně dlouho.
Pod okny se mihlo něco černého. Zastavilo se to před dveřmi jednoho domu. V prudkém záblesku šlo rozeznat černý huňatý kožich, ze kterého vykukoval pár světle modrých očí.
Huňatý pes se dlouze zahleděl na kliku. Byl lovit hluboko v lese a než se stačil vrátit zpět domů, tak začala tato ničivá bouře. Přední packou zaškrábal na dveře. Po jeho mokré srsti stékaly kapky vody a jeho hustá srst se začala vlnit.
Když po chvíli nikdo neotevíral, schoulil se do klubíčka před dveřmi. Ležel v té pohromě a třásl se. I když foukal silný vítr, on se netřásl zimou, ale hrůzou. Nebál se bouřky samotné, bál se toho, co tu bouři způsobilo.
Lidé to možná nerozeznají, ale on ano. To co venku běsnilo, nebyla jen tak nějaká bouře. Byl to souboj dvou démonů.

Where There's Smoke, There's Fire
Izuku Midoriya and his mother Inko Midoriya live in a small town named Kurasuwan that sits on the edge of a large forest. Vendors are selling their products left and right, thanks to the rush that goes on for one short month every year, this month is the only time people would be able to buy specific types of fruit that only grow in that very forest behind the town. The forest had never seemed like a scary place to Izuku, for, even in the dead of night when the moon couldn't be seen through the thick canopy of the towering trees and even the dimest of fireflies were nowhere to be found, the forest was still bright enough to see his hands swaying at his sides and the winding path infront of him. So walking through the forest now in broad daylight, with light from the sun filtering through the leaves was nothing to be scared of, and even when he came across a large glade with a strange man sleeping in the center of it, he could only be curious. Even in the dark that forest wasn't frightening; however, sometimes it's not the dark that's scary. The town, his home, his entire life, was now burning brighter than the sun, lighting up the smoke and ash-filled sky. Suddenly, the darkness seemed more welcoming than the light, because where there's smoke, there's fire, and fire lights up the night like nothing else. 《DISCLAIMER》 For one this story ain't great so go easy on me would ya, it's not my first time writing fanfics but it is my first time publicizing one of my stories. Hi! I'm Dokgo Blue. I know that's not the most Korean name but it's what my mother named me. She wasn't Korean, she was actually American and met my father on her business trip to Korea. If you didn't notice, I said 'she was'. Well, fun fact, she isn't with us anymore. She died in a car crash. This lead to my two older brothers taking all of the money off of my father, taking the house and leaving us in a small apartment in Daegu. The place I was born. At the start of secondary school I skipped classes a lot. By a lot I mean I was there, at the most, twice a week. My father knew about this since whenever I was skipping school I would come straight home to my piano. Honestly I learnt more from him than I ever would actually being at school. However, when a poster was thrown at me by the kids at school I grabbed my money and ran to the train station. One return ticket from Daegu to Seoul.
