I'm not sure how to start this; to be honest, I'm not even sure how to write this. If there's one place we can start, my brain, the most fragile yet sacred thing I've ever owned. The first few poems may not seem worthy of being read but... later down in the book they get better. To some, my poems are beautiful; to some, my poems are shitty and they are rubbish💀. A girl who doesn't let anyone in. A guy who lives every day for himself. An inexplicable attraction. Hi all! Some of the topics touched on in this story include LGBTQ, loss of loved ones/death, sexual assault, thoughts of self harm/suicide. Some of these are touched on a lot while other are more implied. If any of these topics make you uncomfortable or are triggers for you this may not be the story for you. My intent is not to offend anyone or bring them down by the things written. I simply do my best to stay true to the characters I create. For those of you who are still interested, this story will be a roller coaster of emotions for you. I say that as a fellow reader who loves getting invested in characters and their stories. This is a story about relationships, friends, humor, love, loss, secrets, heartbreak, family, temptation, limits. Update: The first rule of writing is to follow through and edit later. I discontinued this book because it was not well written, it was not planned out, and it was not consistent. Therefore I will continue to write it, for the sake of completion and giving Michael an end (in more ways than one) I will finish this.
