After his parents' tragic death, eight-year-old Dick Grayson was unfairly sent to a juvenile detention center. Rather than waiting for a miracle to happen, he decides that he'll escape that hell hole himself.
Surely enough, he manages to do just that. Great. Now what?
While wandering Gotham's streets like the lost child that he was, he stumbles into a club. And not just any club. No, it was the Iceberg Lounge.
So how did this result in Dick befriending some of Gotham's most famous villains? After all, criminals don't have soft sides. Right..?
How about Bruce? Will he show up and help Dick choose the right path?
Or will the boy be influenced by his new villain friends, who insist he make choices similar to theirs?
Will he choose revenge or justice?

Then, just when Bruce finally gets his life back on track with the help of former Catwoman Selina Kyle, he is forced to face an old and deadly foe Bane when he kidnaps Dick's wife and former Batgirl Barbara Gordon and their baby daughter Jane Marie. Armed with an armored Batsuit he created in case Superman ever went rogue called The Hellbat, Bruce Wayne goes into battle one last time as Batman to try to save those he cares about. AUTHOR'S NOTE: Given all the hoopla surrounding the movie Batman v. Superman, I wanted to write my own Batman and/or Superman story. After coming up with different scenarios for my story, including my own version of Batman v. Superman (which I still might write later on), I finally decided on this one (for now at least).
