After his parents' tragic death, eight-year-old Dick Grayson was unfairly sent to a juvenile detention center. Rather than waiting for a miracle to happen, he decides that he'll escape that hell hole himself.
Surely enough, he manages to do just that. Great. Now what?
While wandering Gotham's streets like the lost child that he was, he stumbles into a club. And not just any club. No, it was the Iceberg Lounge.
So how did this result in Dick befriending some of Gotham's most famous villains? After all, criminals don't have soft sides. Right..?
How about Bruce? Will he show up and help Dick choose the right path?
Or will the boy be influenced by his new villain friends, who insist he make choices similar to theirs?

His life slides into further turmoil after the sudden death of his longtime butler and confidant Alfred Pennyworth. Then, just when Bruce finally gets his life back on track with the help of former Catwoman Selina Kyle, he is forced to face an old and deadly foe Bane when he kidnaps Dick's wife and former Batgirl Barbara Gordon and their baby daughter Jane Marie. Armed with an armored Batsuit he created in case Superman ever went rogue called The Hellbat, Bruce Wayne goes into battle one last time as Batman to try to save those he cares about. AUTHOR'S NOTE: Given all the hoopla surrounding the movie Batman v. Superman, I wanted to write my own Batman and/or Superman story. After coming up with different scenarios for my story, including my own version of Batman v. Superman (which I still might write later on), I finally decided on this one (for now at least). I wanted to go beyond the controversial The Killing Joke-where The Joker shoots and paralyzes Barbara Gordon a.k.a. The team are tasked to protect Richard Grayson, essentially be his bodyguards; he has been getting attacked and been receiving a lot of threats from the League of Shadows, and Batman believes he needs to be protected by the team despite protest from Richard. Some Info: I'll be taking some creative liberties with this fan fic that are separate from what is cannon. In this plot, Richard will be aged 14-15 (around YJ S1 Age), no one in the team knows his secret ID, even KF. Aside from his normal character stats, I will dabble in adding both singing and/ musical instrument to Richard's abilities. There will be good old BirdFlash within this fic as well.
