The humans who landed on the little planet had nearly lost all hope until they stumbled upon unknown ancient ruins beneath the planet's surface where they discovered untold amounts of bizarre advanced technology. Earth and humanity were saved, and the little planet to thank for their salvation was named Umbra. Alice is a xenoarchaeologist, her passion in life has always been the study of ancient cultures, and now she has the opportunity to study the most ancient one of them all. The very one that modern Human civilization was built on. Alice and her boyfriend accepted a posting on the famous and ancient ship, the U.S.S.A Umbra.

Men, stripped of purpose, exist as relics of the past, serving only as pets in a system that mirrors a hive, where women reign supreme. Biologically, mothers are the gatekeepers of life. The underground human organization "The Revengeance" wants revenge (obviously), and will do anything to protect earth, even if that means destroying every species in their way. The aliens are ready to destroy them all over again, if they find out the humans are no longer extinct. The fate of all sentient life hangs in the balance. Can they stop this slaughter? Or will they be killed themselves?" This is a story that I've been working on with my friend and we are both excited to finally publish, enjoy! Btw the name in the title will be who the chapter follows Also, this is the first draft, once it's finished we are probably going to go and edit some stuff or just rewrite and publish it as a whole other book
