Pokémon: Out of the Woods | A Galar, Unova & Sinnoh Fanfiction by kingrufus

N's son Neptune has long accepted that his own son died in tragic circumstances. So when he gets an unexpected call from a stranger in Galar, claiming that his son is alive and well, he doesn't know what to think. This unidentified man also claims to be a member of the criminal syndicate Cipher. It's suspected that they aided Team Plasma's last revival, but why would even Team Plasma know the location of a baby who supposedly drowned when he was only one week old? Naturally, Neptune and his friends want to find out for themselves, but this is an International Police issue as well as a personal one. They send two promising young officers, Triton and Sam, but that won't be enough. They also enlist the help of a woman from Orre, Heather. She's a bounty hunter, hacker, frighteningly strong Trainer and most importantly, she can see the auras of Shadow Pokémon - which may well be necessary if Team Plasma and Cipher really are working together. Evil teams aren't the only enemies awaiting these young heroes in Galar. Heather thinks she's seen it all. She thinks she's immune to falling in love, but a mysterious and eccentric young man might just prove otherwise... and it might just impact the investigation. F&S: Discontinued after over an year like what the heck self commented once to a fellow Pokémon writer something like "you shouldn't be pressured to update stories" BUT- This takes place in (Pluto + Bidoof =) Pludoof, a fictional planet I thought by myself. This story takes place in something like the Kalos region. I don't own any of the Pokémon types the characters are (make sense?). Sy is a Sylveon. She's a bully in the school she goes to (Blossom Middle School), but she only bullies to hide her sadness from losing her brother, Umby. Exdrill is a Excadrill. He is a new student at Blossom Middle School. He quickly makes a few new friends, but also quickly notices a bully who natrually hates him. Umby (um-BEE) is a Umbreon. He's Sy's sister, and misses her a lot. Unfortunately, he never gets the courage to go back. Currently, Umby lives with a friendly Yveltal (ee-VELL-tall). Yev (YEH-veh) is a Yveltal. For their type of Pokémon, he's nice. They (Yev. Yev's pronouns are they/them) live(s) on a mountain near a few other Yveltals'. The mountains all together is Yveltal Mountains. Aurora is a Azumarill. She befriended Exdrill on the first day of school. Seeing Sy bullying again in the new year, she wants to know the actual reason why Sy acts like she is by using her powers of understanding others well. Registeel is a Registeel (such a surprise!!!!!!!). They're a therapist and known well across the Kalos region. One day, Registeel gets a letter from a Yveltal saying they need help. The Yveltal lives with a "Umbreon that's depressed." Registeel goes to the place that the letter noted, but they aren't sure if the letter is true or not.

This is the story of what happens after Ash wins the Masters Tournament. All our heroes attend a celebration in honor of the new Monarch. What will happen when Ash and Serena finally reunite? Where will their paths lead next? How will their relationship change as they get older? Info: I have written this story to be very much like the anime. I try very hard to stay true to the characters and portray how I believe they would change as they grow older and gain life experience. All of my chapters are long and full of description, character development and worldbuilding. If you like fun, well thought-out stories with humor, drama, and action, you should like this work. Rating: PG-13 with moments of strong sexuality. There's no profanity or graphic sex. Any sex scenes are poetically written. Some of the romantic scenes are quite sensual, so be aware. As I said, I try to stay true to the anime and that means keeping 'dark' story elements to a relative minimum. There's plenty of intense Pokemon Action and some scary moments, but nothing that veers into gratuitous violence. As far as 'intimate' stuff goes, there are a few sex scenes but they are not gratuitous. I keep things poetic and beautiful, not smutty. That being said, at times, things will get very steamy and intense. As a general rule, if there's something edgy in a chapter I will put a small warning at the beginning. I'm not here to shock anyone. Additionally, as far as ages go, Ash and Serena's age (and any other characters of comparable age) should be considered to be 18 at the start of this story. A lot of time has passed since Ash started out on his journey and although, for now, he is a child at heart, he is actually an adult. Now that their journeys are ending and relationships are beginning, they will finally start experiencing more of what life has to offer. Disclaimer: I don't own Pokemon. This is a work in progress.
