"She stared at the man, her eyes wide as he pointed to the opposite side of the room. 'Tha...that knife-ear did it!' She spat at him. 'Do you think they won't retaliate with you calling them that?!' He kept pointing, refusing to look at her. His eyes were wide in fear and his skin resembled pissed-on snow. Yellow, sickish, and pale. She frowned, and turned to face the wall. It was dark, and the fire in the fire-place could not light the wall. It wavered and flickered, yet not a silhouette could be made out, nor any shape at all. She shuddered as dread wrapped it's fingers around her body. 'I 'erd 'im talkin'! He said that that bloody Dread Wolf were to kill us! Then he...he cast that bloody magic...' He began sobbing, keeping his finger pointing in that direction. Despite being unable to see anything, she believed him. And she was scared."

Veiled Lies and Half-Truths
This story is a Solas x Inquisitor Lavellan fan fiction. It eventually deviates greatly from the actual Dragon Age: Inquisition plot line and focuses more on romance between characters. However, it does contain massive spoilers from all of The Dragon Age games. If you are unfamiliar with the games I provide enough background information and character creation that you will not be lost. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I have enjoyed writing it. I both love and broke for these characters. This book is complete with a little over 250 chapters. However, I have to type and revise it chapter by chapter because most of my writing was done by hand with a bunch of scribbles everywhere. It is a slower build-up to the spice and relationship as I lay out the foundation, but when it starts, it picks up drastically. A Templar's Desire (DA:I - Cullen X Lavellen)

It takes place after the final battle but before the Trespasser DLC. The events are what I would want for Lalin and her lover, Cullen Rutherford. This is purely a self-indulgent project of mine. That all changes when assassins dare to come after him and his children on the little prince's naming day. With a threat daring to be so brash to attack the King, he takes on a personal bodyguard.
