Her parents has specific expectations of her,but she is indifferent. She has other desires and hopes. 

She falls in love for the first time, with her brother's incipient pal 'Samuel' , however her parents does not approve. They disrelish his punk rock and bad boy persona,but Tatum being Tatum would not let her parents stop her from what she believes in. She's not only smart,but beautiful too. 

A life threatening situation alters her entire life. Her mother takes this incident as an opportunity to separate them forever. 

She goes through many struggles along her years of being a young adult and she has to learn to deal with the aftermath of the incident.No one should go through that amount of stress.

Her mother's plans might have worked, but fate is inevitable. 

Tatum tries to move on with her life,to forget her past.To finally settle down with her best friend Brandon.They've known each other since they were little.
