"Listen... I didn't technically hit you," I mumbled the last few words, hoping to kind of sugar-coat the situation, "so, we can just move on, right?" "Hmm. How 'bout this," he leaned closer, "you now owe me, Williams." It wasn't a question. I owed him. I did, after all, almost kill him with my Camry. Even if it was an accident. I sighed. "Fine. See you around, Anderson." I started to roll up my window when he tapped the glass again. I rolled it down with a deep, frustrated sigh, "Yes?" "You can make it out of the parking lot, right?" He smiled a teasing smile, and at that moment, I could understand why so many girls have wanted to hook up with him. Maybe they did or maybe they didn't, but I vowed right then and there that I wouldn't join them. I killed the thought as quickly as it came. "Oh, I'll try, thanks." I rolled up my window before he could retort my sarcastic comment. ..... Eighteen-year-old Cora Williams has lived a simple, sarcastic life with it's series of ups and downs. But after a bad day, she leaves school distressed to the point of almost running over the star quarterback. Between her family drama, her writer's block, and preparing to leave for college, she's never had time to think of relationships. But that all changes when she accidentally says she's dating Rian Anderson, the king of the school. Will he be more than just a guy she nearly killed with her car?

"Nothing. You didn't do anything," I whispered, turning my gaze back to the movie and intending to end the conversation there. He reached for my face with his left hand which was nearest to me, and gently turned it back to face him. The feel of his hands on my face, brought a whole new feeling to me. "Then why?" I held his hand firmly and removed it from my face. "Consider it natural," I said. Sure, immense hatred for someone could be natural. Unconsciously, my eyes moved down to his lips then back to his eyes. "That's not true." "Yes, it is," I said, still whispering, and trying to pay attention to the movie. "No, it isn't." He was being so argumentative. "There's something you're not telling me and I'm not gonna force you but I'm just gonna let you know that if you thought I'd give up on you so easily, you thought wrong, violet." My brows instantly furrowed in confusion and I turned my full attention to him. Is this guy insane? "What are you talking about?" He laughed a little, then relaxed back on the chair. "I think I'm addicted to you." *~* Avery, a teenager with an immense hate for males, finds her hatred breaking into pieces when she gets teamed up with charming Ian on the basketball team. Ian, on the other hand, while trying to satisfy his thriving queries as to why Avery behaved the way she did, finds himself falling completely for her as her past and reasons for her behaviour unfolds before him.
