"Listen... I didn't technically hit you," I mumbled the last few words, hoping to kind of sugar-coat the situation, "so, we can just move on, right?"
"Hmm. How 'bout this," he leaned closer, "you now owe me, Williams." It wasn't a question. I owed him. I did, after all, almost kill him with my Camry. Even if it was an accident. I sighed.
"Fine. See you around, Anderson." I started to roll up my window when he tapped the glass again. I rolled it down with a deep, frustrated sigh, "Yes?"
"You can make it out of the parking lot, right?" He smiled a teasing smile, and at that moment, I could understand why so many girls have wanted to hook up with him. Maybe they did or maybe they didn't, but I vowed right then and there that I wouldn't join them. I killed the thought as quickly as it came.
"Oh, I'll try, thanks." I rolled up my window before he could retort my sarcastic comment.
