Centuries ago this was a great planet, now it's a husky shadow of its former beauty. Though the remnants of its former magic still linger it was destroyed by power hungry scientists. More tests to make more technology to go further, faster more this more that. Boom It all went up in flames, radiation spilled out into South America from the global power station in Brazil. The nuclear plant 15 times that of Chernobyl blew its top. The initial explosion flattened Brazil and the shockwaves were felt from the Florida keys. But the thing that truly ruined the world was the nuclear fallout. it rained down everywhere turning the world into a desolate wasteland deserts for miles and miles. Now you live in districts to survive, but what's the good in just being a number. Why would you look forward to a future of infant nothing, can you run from that? Where would you go? Where have the people who have escaped gone? Is that a future? What if there's someone who got left behind? Many years have passed since the war between the humans and monsters. The humans won, and shut the monsters in a place called the underground. Keeping them there with a magical barrier, it took seven usable souls to shatter the barrier, but being monsters, their souls didn't work. Instead, they had to use human souls to break the barrier, and even then, humans were not likely to fall in. Because the human waste system ends up in the underground, the monsters are informed of what's going on up on the surface, and have developed human-like lifestyles, which included scholarship, friendships and the like, but it seemed, that the monsters were eager to get back on the surface again. Six humans were unlucky enough to fall into the underground, and the leader of the monsters, Asgore Dreemurr killed these humans to use their souls for removing the barrier. Asgore thought that those humans were the only ones that would fall in, but he was wrong. Two more humans fell in, but their souls were lost before Asgore could even use them, and those soulless ghosts were doomed to haunt the underground. Now playing the waiting game, Asgore patiently waited another human to fall, and fall it would. (Sorry!
