It also didn't take long for them to build their underground world, but the sudden change of habitat caused several changes in the way humans function. It's hard to say who's human and who's a completely different creature; a consequence of their arrogance. It's not easy to not be haunted by things in the past. Especially when those things from the past just won't stop coming back. They won't stop coming back, and they won't stop trying to steal your future. Not unless you try to fight for it. So, this is a Frisk x Sans story that I had originally written over on Deviantart. Minecraft and the Enchanted Gauntlet
The Over Realm. You all know it right? It has people, strange creatures, and dangerous monsters. This world also holds dense forests, vast hot deserts as far as the eye can see, and the great frozen ice mountains of the north. This realm also holds powers in a glove shaped body known as Primary Gauntlets. The legendary Gauntlet Guardians protect these from the bad hands. And if they don't, you know it'll be the end of the world as you know it. The strongest of the bunch is called The Enchanted Gaunlet. It was too powerful for the guardians, so they gave it to Notch, the guardian of the Over Realm. But there is a great evil lurking in the shadows. The king of the Nether Realm trained his army hard and well. one night, Goliath, the Nether king raided Notch's kingdom. He couldn't protect it because he was battling the mystical Ender Dragon with his wife. Sadly, there were no survivors in the attack, and Notch and his wife got eaten by the dragon. But two people found a child buried in ashes of his kingdom. They took him to Nexus. Who will have the strength, courage, and bravery to stop Goliath, and finish the deed of slaying the Ender Dragon?Complete

What if there was an anomaly in the Underground? No, not Frisk. Not Chara either. Someone else entirely. How could a few measly children stand to this supposedly immortal foe and save the Underground from destruction? Is it even possible to do so? Only one way to tell... ~o0o~ Disclaimers before you start! •There is NO fanon ships. That means no Soriel, Papyton, etc. The only ships are Torgore (in the past) and Alphyne. •This is NOT an x reader. I dislike those types of stories. The reader will have no part in this, and they will not be shipped with anyone. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives. It won't be unnecessary or excessive, only when it fits the situation and character. I will not be using any slurs, as that's just plain disrespectful, even if some of them apply to me. Credits: Undertale, obviously, created by Toby Fox and Temmie Chang. "The Time Before" by ANinnyMouse42 is the backstory for Sans in this AU with some adjustments (mainly since that was very close to my original idea before I read it and I don't want people to think I copied their masterpiece or smth, if you haven't read it please do so, it's really good). Some things will be in reference to the other books in the trilogy or "From War to Science" by Emotistic-optimistic. If you haven't, read that too. It's really good (along with its sequel). Soon after that, Chara joins a new family, but their ambition to keep everyone happy goes a little overboard and Chara is flung into a reality of destruction and hopeless wonder. Then many long years later they meet the beloved Frisk, who fell into the Underground, similar to themselves. Eventually everything Chara thought they knew correctly is turned upside down and they as a person are changed forever. ~'The game Undertale belongs to Toby Fox and some of the dialogue is ripped straight from the game itself, too.'~Complete

Many years have passed since the war between the humans and monsters. The humans won, and shut the monsters in a place called the underground. Keeping them there with a magical barrier, it took seven usable souls to shatter the barrier, but being monsters, their souls didn't work. Instead, they had to use human souls to break the barrier, and even then, humans were not likely to fall in. Because the human waste system ends up in the underground, the monsters are informed of what's going on up on the surface, and have developed human-like lifestyles, which included scholarship, friendships and the like, but it seemed, that the monsters were eager to get back on the surface again. Six humans were unlucky enough to fall into the underground, and the leader of the monsters, Asgore Dreemurr killed these humans to use their souls for removing the barrier. Asgore thought that those humans were the only ones that would fall in, but he was wrong. Two more humans fell in, but their souls were lost before Asgore could even use them, and those soulless ghosts were doomed to haunt the underground. Now playing the waiting game, Asgore patiently waited another human to fall, and fall it would. (Sorry!
