It has been one miserable year for the Pevensie siblings and Matilda Knight back in England, while it has been 1288 years of the Dark Age in Narnia. After the disappearance of the five royals, Narnia went into the Dark Age, and many years later, Caspian II took power over the magical land turning it into ruins and nothing like the Narnia the group of five know of. The five have been going to school for the last year when suddenly, while waiting for the train, a mysterious gust of wind takes over the tunnel until they find themselves back in Narnia for brand new adventures. The group find themselves in for a big shock at the state of Narnia since they left. What will happen when the five realise what has happened to Narnia since they left? And what will Tilly do when secrets are revealed? Tensions run high between the group, so how will they cope with newcomers?

The Pevensies and all other friends of Narnia are dead. All - but Susan. Susan Pevensie is now grown, and long past her final trip to Narnia. In fact, she has all but forgotten about her and her siblings' adventures, and has instead been focusing on her life in this world - friends, boys, makeup and style. She's been quite content with her life until, one day, a horrible tragedy strikes - leaving her completely alone. This is a continuation of the Chronicles of Narnia from Susan's perspective, beginning just before the events of "The Last Battle," and attempts to answer the question, "What ever happened to Susan?"
