This is one of my more recent poems. I actually got a chance to go to Ecuador during spring break. It was an amazing experience. I was scared to death to go on the trip, because it was the first time I had traveled out of the country by myself. I was the odd one on my team. I was the only 10th grader and not sure how much use I would be. I like the line in the poem about being glad I made the choice to go, because it’s true. I really was happy to be going after meeting and getting to know several of my teammates. It was a challenge for me to go,but it was such a wonderful experience.All Rights Reserved
