For Avery Montgomery, the devastation of losing her parents in a tragic accident has left her completely shattered. As she begins to pick up the pieces of her once perfect life, she uncovers a secret that will forever change her—she’s adopted!
In a search for answers, Avery ventures to Portland where she rents a room from Jonah, a quirky artist who quickly becomes her best friend. His house puts her in close proximity to the metaphysical shop run by her birth mother, the free-spirited Marianna Hutchins. Avery enters The Crystal Moon fully intending to confront Marianna, but instead she chickens out and inquires about a job. She's hired; yet remains leery about confessing her secret.
As Avery settles into town, she has an embarrassing encounter with Gabe, the incredibly attractive man who works a few doors down. Despite the awkward introduction, there is undeniable chemistry, but after a recent heartbreak all he’s looking for is friendship.
Everyone deserves a second chance. Will Avery get hers with a new family? Will Gabe allow himself a second chance at love? Will they embrace their new relationships, or will they simply decide to take a rain check?

The Dragon's Daughter
Seventeen-year-old Raina Brandt has never fit in. A physical disability means she's bullied at school by popular kids like Hector, and only her two best friends, Jess and Sy, seem to understand her. But despite this, Raina thinks she's got life all figured out. Until, one day, a shopping trip for lip gloss turns into a catastrophe of apocalyptic proportions. Everyone around her seems to have developed weird magical powers. Well, everyone but her. Jess can appear anywhere, Hector can read minds- and Sy, well, Sy's gone missing. Raina would give anything for things to go back to the way they were and a mysterious and handsome stranger offers her just that, as long as she does something for him in return. But things aren't quite what they seem, especially when Raina discovers she's even more powerful than she could have ever imagined. Now, it's up to Raina to figure out how to exist in a new world of uncertainty and decide where her loyalties lie. Hanging in the balance is the life of her friend and possibly the fate of magic itself. ******* COMPLETE. Rated PG-13 for mature themes in later chapters. Reunited
[COMPLETED] Have you ever seen Disney's Tangled? If you have, do you know about how Repunzel isn't supposed to leave the tower because her 'mother' said that the world is a cruel place? Well, the same thing happened to Ellie. Just, she doesn't live in a tower or has freakishly long hair. She always looked out of the window to catch a small glimpse of the outside world. She never saw much except for the tips of grass in front of her and the grey, almost black, road that lay in between two houses. Oh! And her mother and father are not nice like in the movie. They treated her like a slave in the house and... Did I mention her room was actually the basement? If I didn't, now you know. Enter Aidan Walker. Ellie's twin brother. Aidan's life is opposite to Ellie's. He has everything severed to him in a golden plater. His every wish is fulfilled and is quite popular when it comes to media. To this day the media follows him around. Despite all the attention and everything being the way he wants, he still feels like something important is missing. He was raised in a well-doing family that took care of him like he was their own. He's well behaved. Both of them don't know about each other. Both of them find out on the same day. After finding out that he has a twin sister still alive and living, Aidan wasted no time in reaching out to her. After that, let's just say the first meeting isn't exactly how Aidan planned it to be. ❗BEFORE YOU READ❗ This book is yet to be edited. There are a lot of things that don't make sense or don't go well together. And there are a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes. Read at your own risk.Complete
