Everywhere around me there is the rush of people clambering to find there special someone to kiss. I look on as couples smile at each other waiting for the happy moment of that new years kiss. I just stand there and wait for the moment to be over so the party van continue, hoping some day this will be me.

4, 3, 2, 1...

I suddenly feel my arm being pulled and a strong arm wrapping around my waist. Then unexpectedly all I feel is lips on mine. Just as I close my eyes and get into the kiss I hear an excited scream from the crowd of people around me.
