In the world of Krios, everyone has an astrological sign. They determine who we are going to be, once we turn nineteen. Even a select few get special abilities to serve Krios and protect innocents. Osias turns sixteen on the day of the Choosing, when he would receive his sign, and base his life on it after. But, on the night of his choosing, something goes wrong. Three years later, when a sign is supposed to give its host its traits, Osias has something even worse occur. He wakes up with no clue what has happened. But Osias finds out that he is special, and he is needed to fight a dark force. Can Osias find enough strength to defeat this evil? Or will he perish with the rest of Krios? Only he can decide.
